Branch Meeting
Our next Branch Meeting will take place on Tuesday 2nd August at The Beer School in Westhoughton at 7pm.
The main event will be a quiz with some brief Branch business. All are welcome. We hope to recruit some new members so please bring along a friend!
At half-time during the quiz we will also be drawing the winners of our Bolton Beer & Cider Week Passport. Thanks to all the great pubs who took part and all the drinkers who visited and stamped their passports. The last chance to email your entries is tomorrow, or you can bring along your completed passports to the Branch Meeting.
Branch Socials
On Saturday 13th August, we are taking a trip to Preston, a great place for beer and pubs. We should be meeting up with Southport & West Lancs Branch. Look out for details on our social events page. All are welcome.
Future events are also listed, but note that some details may change in response to industrial action which may take place.
Community Pub of the Year 2022
We are excited to launch our Community Pub of the Year Award 2022. Full details including the criteria can be found on our pub pages.
Pubs can nominate themselves for the award. They should write to us saying how they meet the criteria in fewer than 200 words by 31st August 2022. Send the application to chair@bolton.camra.org.uk
Branch members can also nominate pubs (with a proposer and seconder and a brief explanation of how the pub meets the criteria) either verbally at the Branch Meeting on 1st September 2022 or by emailing chair@bolton.camra.org.uk
