Bolton CAMRA Community Pub of the Year 2023
Mosley Arms
117 Red Lane, Breightmet, Bolton BL2 5HP
Large comfortable vault with two pool tables, two dart boards, dominoes and cards. The large function room can accommodate up to 120 people including a Sunday Church Service, weddings, christenings and other occasions catered for. Very much a locals pub, but well worth the effort to find.

Previous Community Pub of the Year Winners
Bolton CAMRA are pleased to announce that the winner of our Community Pub of the Year 2019 is Barristers Bar on Bradshawgate.
Entries were open to all pubs in the Borough. The judges felt that Barristers had taken great strides to showcase real ale and cider to all in the town’s community. The pub has made it into the latest CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Their newest initiative, a Beer and Cider Festival run with its sister pub the Swan, served up even more fantastic real ales and ciders.
Barristers Bar is part of the Everyone Welcome Initiative. This ensures that customers are made welcome regardless of their gender, sexual orientation, race, health, religion, age or disability. They have also received gold accreditation in the Best Bar None Bolton Scheme. This promotes partnership and best practice to help improve the evening and night-time economy. Their active promotion of schemes such as Ask Angela help to provide a safe secure environment for customers.
The pub is active on social media, letting new and existing customers across the town know what’s on. It plays host to monthly LGBT nights and regular events for the town’s growing student community. Weekly quizzes raise money for local charities.
