Greenwood Arms to Close?

The Greenwood Arms, in Chorley New Road, Horwich, is in danger of being pulled down to enable the owners, SRH Property Ltd, to build 12 residential properties and a shop. The pub is reported to be running at a loss, and the owners claim, through their agents, that the pub is ‘not viable in the medium term’.
