Pub Closure – Victoria British Queen

The Victoria British Queen on Blackburn Road has closed and is boarded up. The pub had not served cask ales for years, but it is still disappointing to see the pub in this position. It is thought that the previous landlord is starting an new venture in premises on Halliwell Road.
