A reminder about the Edgworth Real Ale festival – please note that the dates mentioned in the Bolton News were incorrect. The correct details are as follows:
6th Edgworth Real Ale Festival
Barlow Institute
Friday 30th September – 4.00pm to 11.00pm
Saturday 1st October – 12 noon to 11.00pm
Sunday 2nd October – 12 noon to 4,00pm
All profits given to charity – over £40,000 donated in the last five years. 2011 charity beneficiaries – Great Ormond Street Hospital andHelp for Heroes
Festival theme – It’s a marathon -not a sprint. All beers brewed within a marathon distance from Edgworth
Entertainment by “The Witnesses” on Friday and Saturday night
Food – traditional Hunter’s pork pies and Allen’s pasties PLUS a selection of “ZEST” brasserie and delicatessen food throughout the festival
Beers – Over 60 casks of real ale will be available plus quality wines, ciders and perries.
Children – well behaved children welcome until 7.30pm on Saturday and all day Sunday.
Shuttle bus – service from Harwood, Bradshaw, Bromley Cross and Egerton available on Friday and Saturday – timetable in website
