Meet at Bolton station at 11.05 to catch the 11.19 train to travel to Manchester Victoria where we change to catch the 11.47 to Huddersfield arriving at 12.15.
The first port of call will be Head of Steam, St Georges Square, Huddersfield HD1 1JF (10 real ales) which is part of the railway complex. Moving on we can visit the following:
The Sportsman, 1 St Johns Road, Huddersfield, HG1 1JF (8 real ales)
Corner – Mallinsons Brewery Tap house, 5 Market Walk, Huddersfield, HD1 2QA
Rat and Ratchet, 40 Chapel Grove, Huddersfield, HD1 3EB
The Grove, 2 Spring Grove Street, Huddersfield, HD1 4BP but these depend on time
Ending up at the Kings Head, St Georges Square, Huddersfield, HD1 1JF (10 real ales) which is also part of the station complex.
Catching the train back to Bolton we may stop off at Stalybridge to sample some ale from the Station Buffet Bar with 9 hand pumps
