The winner in a close contest for the Greater Manchester Regional club of the Year was the Poynton Royal British Legion Club. Details of the presentation event will be publicised soon.

  Ye Olde Man and Scythe was awarded the Bolton Cider Pub of the Year awards, and a presentation was made during  the branch neeting on 31st August 2011.

Friday 26th August – Sunday 4th September 2011 With the most recent Beer & Pub Association report highlighting that 39 pubs are closing every week, CAMRA has to do more than ever to support local pubs through these difficult times.
