Meet at Bolton Railway Station to catch 10.22 to Manchester Piccadilly where we change to catch 11.08 to Buxton arriving at 12.02. The Wayfarer ticket cost £14.00 or with concession £9.20. This allows the passenger to get on and off train and bus as many times as they wish. This trip is going to be fairly straightforward sticking to the train.

Red Willow, 1 Cavendish Circle, SK 17 6AT. Red Willow tap with regular ale, Red Willow Reckless and 4 changing. Food is available, snacks and pizza

Whaley Bridge

Catch the 14.34 train to Whaley Bridge arriving at 14.50. A short walk from the station is the Goyt Inn, 8 Bridge St. SK23 7LR, close to the historic Whaley Bridge Canal Basin. 5 changing ales

New Mills

Catch 15.52 train to New Mills arriving at 15.58. As short walk to the Beer Shed, 47b Market St, SK22 4AA. Serves 1 regular ale from Fool Hardy and 3 changing from local micro-breweries

Disley

Catch 16.59 train to Disley arriving at 17.02. A short walk along the main road to Malt Disley, 22 Market St., SK12 2AA. A micro bar with 5 changing cask ales from local breweries.

Catch 18.01 train to Manchester {Piccadilly arriving at 18.36 and then catch the 19.00 to Bolton arriving at 19.19 or if a visit to a pub local to the station there are trains at 19.18, 19.30 and 20.00 to Bolton
