Pub of the Year Presentation
We are pleased to announce that our Pub of the Year 2022 is the Beer School in Westhoughton. They also picked up Branch Cider Pub of the Year.
Presentation Evening will take place on Wednesday 30th March from 7.30pm (the presentation will be about 8pm). All are welcome to come and drink some fine beer and cider. Savoury treats will also be available from local business Hive Bakehouse.
Club of the Year
Bolton Ukrainian Club once again won our Club of the Year. Presentation details will follow soon.
The Club has been a long-time winner of our Club of the Year. It was also the venue for our most recent beer festivals. They have been great supporters of CAMRA and many in the Branch have close friends in Bolton’s Ukrainian community. We are thinking of them, their families and all Ukrainians at this terrible time for their country and their people.
All of our winners go forward to the Greater Manchester Regional Competition. Good Luck!
Socials
The next Branch social is tomorrow Saturday 19th March to Darwen. Meet at One for the Road at Bolton Markets at 11.45 to have a beer before catching the 12.35 bus to Darwen.

Beer Scoring
A reminder that beer scoring from members influences Branch entries to the Good Beer Guide and the shortlists for our various Pub Awards.
It only takes a minute to provide scores through WhatPub. It is the easiest and one of the most effective ways for members to campaign.
Find out about beer scoring here.
